Our "Enterprise Value/EBITDA" heatmap gives you an exclusive overview of the valuations of individual companies from a purely operational perspective, i.e. adjusted for the financing side or depreciation and taxes. Enterprise Value (EV) is calculated from stock market value plus net financial debt. EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation - in each case related to the previous financial year. Similar to the normal P/E ratio, the following also applies to the EV/EBITDA ratio: the lower, the more advantageous. The heat map shown here is particularly suitable for comparisons within individual sectors. However, the individual shares can also be filtered according to indices or market segments. Under X-Caps we have grouped together companies with a market capitalisation of more than 1 billion euros that are not included in any index.
