Cluster Annual General Meetings (AGM)
AGM-Statistics
Traditionally, the dates for the Annual General Meetings (AGM) are concentrated in the months of May, June and July. There is a simple reason for this: according to the provisions of the German Stock Corporation Act, the AGM must take place in the first eight months of the financial year. And since for most companies the financial year and the calendar year are identical, the AGM has to take place by the end of August. In this overview, boersengefluester.de (BGFL) shows how the AGM dates of the companies in our database are actually distributed throughout the year. To increase the usefulness of the overview, we also show the seasonality according to different indices or segments. Editor's tip: Visit our dividend calendar 2.0 for more visualisations and statistics on this topic.
Note: The AGM dates refer to the most recent date and are updated manually with great care by boersengefluester.de (BGFL). To do this, we check the Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette) daily and regularly look at the financial calendars of the 650 or so companies in our database. Accordingly, these date overviews are also the basis for the dates published on BGFL for the publication of annual reports and quarterly figures. Under X-Caps we have grouped together companies with a market capitalisation of more than 1 billion euros, but which are not included in any index. Reading aid: Above the bars of the individual charts we show the absolute number of ordinary general meetings held in the respective month.
Founded in 2013 by Gereon Kruse, the financial portal boersengefluester.de is all about German shares - with a clear focus on second-line stocks. In addition to traditional editorial articles, the site stands out in particular thanks to a large number of self-developed analysis tools. All tools are based on a completely self-maintained database for more than 650 shares. As a result, boersengefluester.de produces Germany's largest profit and dividend forecast.
