Term of office extended for Dr Andreas Hoerning as CEO of Westwing Group SE
With this reappointment, the Supervisory Board recognizes the successful work of Dr Andreas Hoerning and the Supervisory Board shows its commitment to continuity in the management of the company. At the beginning of his current tenure, Dr Andreas Hoerning initiated a three-step transformation plan to full value creation. The first two phases were successfully implemented over the past three years. In the current third phase, the focus is on positioning Westwing as the leading premium one-stop destination for Home & Living. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Christoph Barchewitz, comments on behalf of the Supervisory Board: “We thank Dr Andreas Hoerning for the positive development of the company since his appointment as CEO in July 2022. His reappointment is an expression of our full confidence and expectation that the transformation will be successfully completed during his new term of office.
