GBC Research: Insider-Transactions

When insiders - such as board members or supervisory board members - trade shares in their own company, these transactions usually also provide valuable signals for private investors. The Augsburg-based research company GBC has been analysing the directors' dealings (DD) of all listed companies based in German-speaking countries since 2007 and has created a corresponding index since September 2016: the GBC Insider Focus Index (GBC IFX). In the case of an insider purchase, a company is included in the index - provided that it is also convincing in the further analysis. In the case of an insider sale, it is removed. The GBC IFX usually contains between 30 and 100 stocks and is adjusted weekly.
