Aufsichtsrat von The Grounds ernennt Andrew Wallis zum Finanzvorstand (CFO) der Gesellschaft
Berlin, 26 Februar 2025 – Der Aufsichtsrat der The Grounds Real Estate Development AG (The Grounds / ISIN: DE000A40KXL9) hat Andrew Wallis mit Wirkung zum 1. März 2025 zum Finanzvorstand (CFO) der Gesellschaft ernannt. Wallis wird die Gesellschaft künftig gemeinsam mit Jacopo Mingazzini (CEO) führen, der das Unternehmen seit Mai 2023 vorübergehend allein geleitet hatte. Andrew Wallis war unter anderem für Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan und HSBC tätig. Von 2014 bis 2020 war er Deputy CEO der Aroundtown S. A. in Berlin. Seit 2020 begleitete er als Berater eine Reihe von M&A-Projekten und übernahm operative Restrukturierungsmandate, wobei er mehrfach interimsweise Geschäftsführungs- beziehungsweise Vorstandsverantwortung in involvierten Unternehmen übernahm. Dr. Peter Maser, Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates von The Grounds, kommentiert die Berufung von Wallis: „Mit Andrew Wallis konnten wir einen Immobilien- und Finanzierungsexperten mit gut 30-jähriger Berufserfahrung für The Grounds gewinnen, der nicht nur über eine umfassende Branchenkenntnis verfügt, sondern zugleich auch langjährige Führungserfahrung aus verschiedenen Immobilienunternehmen mitbringt. Damit haben wir den Vorstand wieder auf die ursprüngliche Größe von zwei Personen erweitert und eine wichtige Weichenstellung in Richtung weiteren Wachstums von The Grounds vollzogen.“
