Hamburg, den 07.11.2025 - Die DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG („DWK“) (WKN: A2AAB7 / Börsensymbol: T7RA) hat heute eine Vereinbarung zum Erwerb der beiden Laufwasserkraftwerke Nunelva und Simsfossen in der Region Trøndelag (Norwegen) unterzeichnet. Verkäufer sind die norwegischen Energieunternehmen TrønderEnergi Kraft Holding AS und Aneo Production Holding AS. Der Kaufpreis beider Anlagen liegt bei umgerechnet rd. 1,4 Mio. EUR. Die beiden Wasserkraftwerke verfügen über eine installierte Leistung von rund 0,3 Megawatt (Nunelva) bzw. 0,7 Megawatt (Simsfossen) und erzeugen gemeinsam im Durchschnitt rund 3 Gigawattstunden Strom pro Jahr. Die Anlagen, die ursprünglich 1949 und 1921 in Betrieb genommen wurden, und seitdem regelmäßig in Stand gehalten und erneuert wurden, verfügen über Fallhöhen von 135 Metern bzw. 17 Metern und sind teilweise regulierbar, um die Produktion an den Bedarf anpassen zu können.
Mit dem Erwerb setzt DWK ihre Strategie erfolgreich fort, sich als unabhängiger Stromproduzent zu etablieren, der sich dabei ausschließlich auf Wasserkraft konzentriert. Derzeit fokussiert sich DWK auf Standorte in Norwegen, da dieses Land ideale Bedingungen für die Entwicklung und den Betrieb von „Small Hydro“-Laufwasserkraftwerken bietet, weshalb es der größte Wasserkrafterzeuger Europas ist. Die Transaktion stärkt die Position der DWK im skandinavischen Wasserkraftmarkt des Unternehmens.

Disclosure of Inside Information pursuant to Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG expands its portfolio by acquiring two Norwegian run-of-river hydropower plants with an annual electricity production of around 3.0 GWh Hamburg, 7 November 2025 – DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG (“DWK”) (WKN: A2AAB7 / Ticker Symbol: T7RA) today signed an agreement to acquire the two run-of-river hydropower plants Nunelva and Simsfossen located in the Trøndelag region of Norway. The sellers are the Norwegian energy companies TrønderEnergi Kraft Holding AS and Aneo Production Holding AS. The total purchase price for both plants amounts to approximately EUR 1.4 million. The two hydropower plants have an installed capacity of around 0.3 MW (Nunelva) and 0.7 MW (Simsfossen), generating a combined average of about 3 GWh of electricity per year. Originally commissioned in 1949 and 1921, respectively, both plants have been regularly maintained and modernized. They feature head heights of 135 meters and 17 meters, and are partly controllable to adjust production in line with demand. With this acquisition, DWK continues to successfully implement its strategy of establishing itself as an independent power producer (IPP) focused exclusively on hydropower. Currently, DWK concentrates on sites in Norway, as the country offers ideal conditions for the development and operation of small hydro run-of-river plants and is Europe’s largest hydropower producer. The transaction further strengthens DWK’s position in the Scandinavian hydropower market.
