Krypto-Eigenbestand der Bitcoin Group SE beläuft sich aktuell auf EUR 356,8 Mio. Herford, 21. Februar 2025 – Die Bitcoin Group SE (ISIN DE000A1TNV91) gibt ein Update zu den von der Gesellschaft im Eigenbestand gehaltenen Kryptowährungen. Damit gibt das Unternehmen einen transparenten Einblick in den größten Posten innerhalb der Bilanz und reagiert zudem auf Investorenanfragen im Hinblick auf die zuletzt negative Kursentwicklung. Die Netto-Krypto-Eigenbestände belaufen sich aktuell auf EUR 356,8 Mio. nach EUR 245,6 Mio. zum Ende des ersten Halbjahres 2024 beziehungsweise EUR 164,8 Mio. zum Ende des Geschäftsjahres 2023. Der größte Anteil daran entfällt auf Bitcoin (BTC) gefolgt von Ethereum (ETH). Bei 5,0 Millionen ausstehenden Aktien entspricht allein der Krypto-Eigenbestand ohne Berücksichtigung der latenten Steuern einem aktuellen Wert von EUR 71,36 je Aktie. Der aktuelle Börsenkurs von EUR 39,75 spiegelt die bilanzielle Substanz der Bitcoin Group nicht annähernd wider und steht in keinem Zusammenhang mit der operativen Entwicklung des Geschäfts. „Wir freuen uns über den deutlichen Wertzuwachs unserer Krypto-Assets im Jahresvergleich und sind nicht zuletzt aufgrund der kryptofreundlichen Entwicklungen in den USA mehr denn je vom Potenzial von Krypto-Assets überzeugt. Aus diesem Grund halten wir unsere Positionen in den wesentlichen Kryptowährungen BTC und ETH in voller Höhe aufrecht. Wir weisen ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass die aktuell negative und unbefriedigende Kursentwicklung in keinem Verhältnis zur Entwicklung unseres operativen Geschäfts steht. Unabhängig davon sind wir optimistisch, dass wir mit unseren im Eigenbestand befindlichen Kryptowährungen langfristig weitere Wertzuwächse erzielen werden und darüber hinaus durch neue Geschäftsfelder zusätzlichen Cashflow generieren können“, sagt Moritz Eckert, neuer CEO der Bitcoin Group SE.
