Dezember 2031 verlängert. Im Hinblick auf die ordentliche Hauptversammlung am 7. Mai 2026 hat sich der Aufsichtsrat der adidas AG außerdem darauf verständigt, Nassef Sawiris für eine weitere Amtszeit von drei Jahren zur Wiederwahl in den Aufsichtsrat vorzuschlagen. Im Anschluss an die ordentliche Hauptversammlung beabsichtigt der Aufsichtsrat, Nassef Sawiris zum Aufsichtsratsvorsitzenden zu wählen. Er soll als Vorsitzender auf Thomas Rabe folgen, dessen Amtszeit mit Beendigung der kommenden Hauptversammlung planmäßig endet. Neben Nassef Sawiris wird der Aufsichtsrat der ordentlichen Hauptversammlung im Mai 2026 auch die Wiederwahl von Ian Gallienne, Vorsitzender des Board of Directors, Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, für eine Amtszeit von drei Jahren vorschlagen. Als neues Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats soll den Aktionär*innen außerdem Mathias Döpfner, Vorstandsvorsitzender der Axel Springer SE, zur Wahl vorgeschlagen werden.
