DER TIGER wurde im Geschäftsjahr 2024 fertiggestellt. Die Entscheidung von Amazon MGM Studios, den Film vor dem Streamingstart in die deutschen Kinos zu bringen, zeigt die inhaltliche Relevanz als auch die Produktionsqualität des Projekts. Ostfront, 1943: Die fünfköpfige Besatzung eines deutschen Tiger-Panzers wird auf eine geheime Mission tief ins feindliche Gebiet geschickt. Was als taktischer Einsatz beginnt, wird unter dem Einfluss von Methamphetamin zu einem psychologischen Höllentrip – eine düstere Reise in das Herz der Finsternis. Regie führte Dennis Gansel (Napola, Die Welle), der das Drehbuch zusammen mit Colin Teevan entwickelte. Produzenten sind Frank Kusche und Dan Maag. In den Hauptrollen spielen David Schütter, Laurence Rupp, Leonard Kunz, Sebastian Urzendowsky und Yoran Leicher. Director of Photography ist Carlo Jelavic, das Production Design verantwortet Nick Palmer. Für das Kostümbild war Anke Winckler verantwortlich, Hair & Make-up Design stammen von Meg Tanner.
