Für ein effizientes SaaS-Lizenzmanagement aller unternehmensweiten Salesforce-Anwendungen hat sich einer der weltweit führenden Automobilkonzerne (der "Kunde") für den Einsatz von USU Software Asset Management (USU SAM) entschieden. Ziel der SaaS-Vereinbarung ist es, durch den Einsatz von USU SaaS Optimization die bestmögliche Lizenznutzung vieler selbstständig agierender Organisationseinheiten zu gewährleisten und so signifikante Kosteneinsparungen zu erzielen. Dafür bietet die USU-Lösung anhand definierter Metriken automatisiert die Echtzeit-Details zur Salesforce-Nutzung sowie den transparenten Überblick über die komplexe Salesforce-Softwarelandschaft. Nach einer umfassenden Evaluierung des Gesamtmarktes gewann USU den Proof of Concept mit mehr als 20 erfolgreich abgeschlossenen Use Cases. Das Projekt startete Ende 2021. Im Rahmen der Cloud-Management-Offensive des Kunden soll das SaaS-Lizenzmanagement sukzessive auch für weitere Software-Hersteller optimiert werden.
