Mettlach, 18.09.2026 – Der Vorstand der Villeroy & Boch AG hat heute beschlossen die Prognose für das Geschäftsjahr 2026 anzupassen. Die länger als erwartet andauernden geopolitischen Spannungen und die daraus resultierende anhaltende allgemeine Konjunkturschwäche haben im 3. Quartal 2026 zu einer nicht zufriedenstellenden Umsatzentwicklung geführt und wirken sich entsprechend auf den Ausblick für das restliche Geschäftsjahr aus. Vor diesem Hintergrund erwartet das Unternehmen für das Gesamtjahr 2026 nun einen Umsatzrückgang gegenüber dem Vorjahr im höheren einstelligen Prozentbereich sowie ein operatives EBIT von 50 bis 56 Mio. €. Bisher war von einem Konzernumsatzrückgang im mittleren bis höheren einstelligen Prozentbereich sowie einem operativen EBIT von 75 Mio. € ausgegangen worden. Die erwartete rollierende operative Nettovermögensrendite reduziert sich entsprechend von 8,5 % - 10 % auf nunmehr 5,5 % - 6,5 %. Die operativen Investitionen werden im laufenden Geschäftsjahr rund 40 Mio. € betragen. Vor diesem Hintergrund konkretisiert der Vorstand die bisherige Dividendenpolitik dahingehend, dass nicht mehr als der Konzernjahresüberschuss ausgeschüttet wird. In jedem Fall wird die Zahlung der Mindestdividende vorgeschlagen. Der Zwischenbericht zum 3. Quartal 2026 wird planmäßig am 27. Oktober 2026 veröffentlicht und weitere Informationen zur Geschäftsentwicklung in beiden Unternehmensbereichen enthalten.
