Der Aufsichtsrat der GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft hat den Vorstandsvorsitzenden Stefan Klebert heute einstimmig wiederbestellt. Seine ursprünglich bis zum 31. Dezember 2026 dauernde Amtszeit wurde im Wege der Neubestellung vorzeitig um weitere zwei Jahre bis zum 31. Dezember 2028 verlängert. Der Aufsichtsrat hat außerdem mit Wirkung zum 1.Januar 2026 die Erweiterung des Vorstands von bislang drei auf zukünftig sechs Ressorts beschlossen. Gleichzeitig wird das 14-köpfige Global Executive Committee aufgelöst.
