September 2026 – Die LPKF Laser & Electronics SE hat von einem führenden asiatischen Hersteller für Advanced Semiconductor Packaging eine Absichtserklärung zum Kauf ihrer NEXAR LIDE-Glasbearbeitungssysteme erhalten, womit die Auswahl von LPKF als Teil der Produktionskette bestätigt wird. Der Kunde plant, die Systeme für den anfänglichen Hochlauf seiner Produktionsanlage für Glassubstrate für hochleistungsfähige Advanced Packaging-Lösungen einzusetzen. Die Erklärung bestätigt die Absicht, Anlagen im mittleren einstelligen Millionen-Euro-Bereich zu erwerben, wobei die Bestellung in Kürze erwartet wird. Das Projekt unterstützt die Wachstumsstrategie von LPKF im glasbasierten Advanced Packaging für Anwendungen im High-Performance Computing und in der Künstlichen Intelligenz.
