Fulda, 17. April 2026 –Die KAP AG („KAP“, WKN 620840, ISIN DE0006208408) hat sich heute mit ihren finanzierenden Kreditinstituten auf ein Refinanzierungskonzept geeinigt und ihren bestehenden Konsortialkredit verlängert sowie damit ihre Finanzierungsstrategie neu aufgestellt. Das vereinbarte Finanzierungspaket umfasst ein Gesamtvolumen von 96,0 Mio. EUR bei einer Laufzeit bis zum 30. März 2029. Die Konditionen reflektieren dabei das anspruchsvolle Marktumfeld. So erfolgt die Verzinsung auf Basis der Euro Interbank Offered Rate (EURIBOR) zuzüglich einer Marge von 4,5 %. Die Inanspruchnahme des Konsortialkredits ist dabei an bestimmte Voraussetzungen gebunden. Dazu zählen insbesondere die Umsetzung der im IDW‑S6‑Gutachten benannten Maßnahmen, die Aufrechterhaltung der bestehenden Finanzierungsbausteine sowie die Ernennung eines Chief Restructuring Officers (CRO) und eines Lenkungsausschusses. Zudem ist ein M&A-Prozess vorgesehen, mit dem Ziel, Vermögenswerte der KAP zu veräußern, um den Verkaufserlös als Pflichtsondertilgung des Konsortialkredites zu nutzen.
