EQS-Ad-hoc: Fresenius Medical Care AG / Schlagwort(e): Aktienrückkauf Bad Homburg, 9. Januar 2026 – Die Fresenius Medical Care AG („Gesellschaft“) hat entschieden, den Rückerwerb der zweiten Tranche des mit einer Ad-hoc-Mitteilung vom 17. Juni 2025 bekanntgegebenen Aktienrückkaufprogramms zu starten. Das Aktienrückkaufprogramm hat ein Volumen von insgesamt EUR 1 Milliarde (ohne Erwerbsnebenkosten). Die erste Tranche des Aktienrückkaufprogramms der Gesellschaft wurde am 29. Dezember 2025 vorzeitig abgeschlossen. Mit der zweiten Tranche sollen vom 12. Januar 2026 bis zum 8. Mai 2026 (einschließlich) eigene Aktien für einen Gesamtbetrag von rund EUR 415 Millionen zurückerworben werden. Das Aktienrückkaufprogramm kann damit voraussichtlich deutlich früher abgeschlossen werden. Die Aktien sollen über die Börse erworben und vornehmlich eingezogen werden und können in erheblich geringerem Umfang für Zuteilungen im Rahmen von leistungsorientierten Vergütungsplänen verwendet werden. Grundlage für das Aktienrückkaufprogramm ist die von der Hauptversammlung der Gesellschaft am 20. Mai 2021 erteilte Ermächtigung zum Erwerb und zur Verwendung eigener Aktien.
