Energiekontor is awarded contracts for eight projects in the Federal Network Agency's February tender

Bremen, 26 March 2025 – Energiekontor AG (“Energiekontor”), a leading German project developer and operator of wind and solar parks based in Bremen and listed in the General Standard, has been awarded contracts for a total of eight wind projects with a total generation capacity of around 192 megawatts in the Federal Agency’s tender in February. The projects are expected to reach financial close in the next step.

Eight Energiekontor wind projects with a total nominal capacity of around 192 megawatts have been awarded contracts in this year‘s first tender procedure for onshore wind by the Federal Network Agency. The Federal Network Agency awarded a total of 422 bids with a total volume of around 4.1 gigawatts. With a bid volume of around 4.9 gigawatts, the original tender volume was oversubscribed. The average volume-weighted price was 7.00 cents per kilowatt-hour.

„We are very pleased with this success. We have thus secured long-term and reliable electricity remuneration, which is an important basis for our projects' profitability.
