Die Softing Industrial Automation GmbH hat 100% der Anteile der Delta Logic Automatisierungstechnik GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd übernommen. Delta Logic bringt in die Softing Gruppe eine umfassende Expertise in der Kommunikation zwischen PC-basierten Systemen und Speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerungen (SPS) ein. Damit verbunden verfügt Delta Logic über hochperformante Software auf Basis der OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), die heute die führende Technologie zum systemübergreifenden Austausch von Daten zwischen Produkten verschiedener Hersteller darstellt. Beides ergänzt das strategische Kerngeschäft von Softing Industrial in idealer Weise. Thomas Hilz, gemeinsam mit Thomas Rummel Geschäftsführer der Softing Industrial, sagt hierzu: „Das Team der Delta Logic ist uns aus Jahren gemeinsamer Entwicklung bekannt. Die vom Firmengründer Rainer Hönle geschaffene Kompetenz im Zugriff auf Siemens Steuerungen sucht im Markt seinesgleichen. Wir begrüßen die neuen Kollegen herzlich und freuen uns darauf, den Delta Logic Produkten mit dem internationalen Vertrieb von Softing einen weiteren Wachstumsschub zu verleihen.“ Softing geht davon aus, mit Delta Logic einen profitablen, zusätzlichen Umsatz von anfangs ca. 3 und später bis zu 5 Mio. EUR jährlich zu generieren.
