Linz, Österreich – 30. September 2026 – Kontron, ein weltweit führender Anbieter von IoT-Technologie, informiert über zwei aktuelle Entwicklungen: Die Zahlung von EUR 126 Mio. durch congatec im Zusammenhang mit der Entkonsolidierung des Modulgeschäfts ist bereits im dritten Quartal 2026 eingegangen. Gleichzeitig wurde Dr.-Ing. Martin Rausch mit Wirkung zum 30.09.2026 in den Vorstand der Kontron AG berufen und übernimmt die Verantwortung für Technologie als CTO. Die erwartete Zahlung der EUR 126 Mio. stärkt die finanzielle Basis von Kontron und gibt zusätzlichen Spielraum für weiteres Wachstum. Kontron wird wieder gezielt strategische Zukäufe im Segment Software + Solutions prüfen. Mit der Berufung von Dr. Martin Rausch in den Vorstand stärkt Kontron zudem seine technologische und operative Führungsebene. Martin Rausch verfügt über rund 25 Jahre internationale Industrie- und Managementerfahrung, darunter mehr als zehn Jahre als Geschäftsführer, CTO und COO. Vor seinem Eintritt bei Kontron war er in leitenden Positionen bei Siemens Healthineers, General Electric und TGW tätig.
