First Phase to Include up to 15 Plants Hamburg, September 15, 2025 – DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG (“DWK”) (ISIN: DE000A2AAB74 / WKN: A2AAB7 / Ticker: T7RA) has signed a framework and service agreement with Norway-based OdelEnergy AS (“OdelEnergy”) to jointly develop and construct small hydropower plants with a planned annual generation of approximately 95 gigawatt hours (GWh). The first phase foresees up to 15 plants. The agreement builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in February 2025 and underlines DWK’s strategic focus on expanding its hydropower portfolio, particularly in small run-of-river plants (“Small Hydro”). Under the partnership, DWK secures a right of first refusal on defined project rights in Southern Norway. OdelEnergy will handle design, development, and construction, while DWK will provide project financing and oversight. The initial investment volume until commissioning is expected to total around EUR 50 million, to be financed in cooperation with partner banks through a mix of instruments. Both companies also plan to extend their cooperation to future projects in Norway.
