STEICO SE: Appointment of new members to the Administrative Board of STEICO SE

Feldkirchen near Munich, 27 February 2025 - (ISIN DE000A0LR936) - By resolution dated 24 February 2025, the Register Court of the Local Court of Munich appointed Prof. Dr. h.c. Heinrich Köster and Dr Alexander Thomas as two new independent members of the Administrative Board of STEICO SE.

Prof Köster is President of Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, whose Faculty of Wood Technology and Construction is one of the world's leading research and training centres in the field of timber construction. Professor Köster has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and is internationally renowned for his scientific achievements in the timber industry and for his social commitment. In addition to his industry expertise, Professor Köster is very familiar with the development of the STEICO Group, as he was already a member of the Administrative Board of STEICO SE between 2019 and 2024. On the occasion of his appointment, Prof Köster said "I am pleased to be able to contribute my industry knowledge again in the future and hope that I can make a contribution to the positive development of the company and the timber construction sector as a whole."

Dr Alexander Thomas is a lawyer and expert in stock corporation law and capital market law. After studying law and holding several positions at reputable law firms, Dr Thomas is now a partner at a renowned international commercial law firm. Dr Thomas advises companies on general meetings, capital measures and compliance with follow-up obligations on the German stock exchanges. He also drafts securities prospectuses with a focus on share issues and bond issues. Alexander Thomas also speaks at various conferences and regularly publishes articles on capital markets law topics. Dr Thomas commented on his appointment: "As an independent member of the Administrative Board, I would like to support the company with my expertise, but I also see it as my task to represent the interests of all shareholders, in particular those of small shareholders.”

The new appointment was made by the court for the period up to the next Annual General Meeting of STEICO SE. Professor Heinrich Köster and Dr Thomas succeed Udo Schramek and Katarzyna Schramek, who will leave the Administrative Board of STEICO SE at the end of 28 February 2025.

Further members of the Administrative Board are Paul O'Gorman (Chairman), and Aiveen Kearney.

With the appointment of two independent experts, the STEICO Group is sharpening its profile and expects sustainable impetus for the company's future growth.
