EQS-Ad-hoc: DATA MODUL Aktiengesellschaft Produktion und Vertrieb von elektronischen Systemen / Key word(s): Quarter Results According to a preliminary analysis, the sales and earnings of DATA MODUL AG declined in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025, compared to the results achieved in the same period of the previous year. The reasons for this are the continuously strained overall market situation, fierce competition from Asia, and one-off expenses in the first quarter.
The group EBIT in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025 was EUR -1.9 million, marking a reduction of approx. 146.3 % in comparison to the same period of the previous year (EUR 4.1 million). Group sales declined by approx. 14.3% to EUR 54.4 million in the first quarter of 2025 in comparison to EUR 63.5 million in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024. Bookings increased by approx. 4.4% to EUR 52.5 million in comparison to EUR 50.3 million for the same period of the previous year. The Company will publish the definitive results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025 on May, 8th 2025.
