EQS-Ad-hoc: CENIT AG / Key word(s): Preliminary Results Stuttgart, February 20, 2025 - Due to new insights during the process of preparing the annual financial statements 2024, CENIT AG publishes results of the preliminary financial statements and hereby corrects the forecast for the business year 2024. CENIT AG generated consolidated group revenues of EUR 207 million in the 2024 financial year. This represents an increase in sales of 12.2% compared to the previous year. EBITDA increased by 3.4% to EUR 17 million compared to the previous year. EBITDA is therefore lower than the forecast published at the end of October 2024. At that time, we projected EBITDA to be in a range of EUR 17.9 million to EUR 18.4 million. Due to this discrepancy, we have decided to now publish figures from the preliminary financial statements. In the forecast for the 2024 financial year published at the end of October 2024, the Management Board already pointed out that it does not expect the usual jump in earnings for Q4 to take place. This is due to the gloomy overall economic situation in France and Germany and the increased switch from single license sales to the Saas model. As already reported, CENIT AG is continuing to restructure the organization and has already achieved significant cost reductions for the 2024 financial year. The further restructuring of the organization is currently the focus of the Management Board and the management team. Therefore, the expenses for the restructuring of the organization have already been included in parts of the annual financial statements for the 2024 financial year and provisions have been made. Our preliminary EBIT differs from the EBIT forecast of EUR 8 to 8.5 million in a range of EUR 7.2 to 7.4 million, particularly due to the addition of these provisions. We have agreed to provide a range for the preliminary EBIT as the auditors' review had not yet been completed at the time the preliminary figures were reported. The Management Board will publish the revenue and earnings forecast for the 2025 financial year as part of the reporting of the final annual financial statements for 2024.
